The canister marinates food in 12 minutes or less instead of hours or overnight (like with other methods) thanks to its vacuum-sealing capabilities. The vacuum process opens the pores of food, allowing marinades to quickly and thoroughly penetrate deep into the food. Use the canister for marinating fish, poultry, tofu, vegetables, and much more.

Vacuum-Sealing Lid

The 2-1/4-quart square canister features a vacuum-sealing lid that works with any FoodSaver vacuum sealing system (machine not included). To vacuum seal, simply add food to the canister, secure the lid, and connect the lid's removable hose to a FoodSaver vacuum sealing system. The vacuum sealer will automatically remove all the air inside the canister to create a stay-fresh, airtight seal.

Food-Storage Made Simple

In addition to marinating in a fraction of the time, the square canister can also be used for convenient food storage in the refrigerator or pantry. Sealing out air and moisture, the canister keeps a variety of foods fresh longer.
